August 21, 2017
It is with deep sadness that we have learned that our friend and beloved Old Oakland Neighbors Co-Chair, Ron Wolf, passed away suddenly this past Saturday August 19th.
For as long as we can remember, Ron was a dedicated, energetic and proactive community leader, both in his building and in our Old Oakland neighborhood. He had just returned from his favorite place, Costa Rica. Upon coming home to Oakland, he helped paint our play structure at Lafayette Square Park last Sunday. This past Wednesday, as an avid A’s fan, Ron attended his last game, before we all shared our last bits of time together at our neighborhood meeting.
We are all shocked, in disbelief and grieving his loss.
A Memorial will be held for Ron on November 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM on the grounds of the Pardee House, located at 672 11th street, Oakland, CA. PLEASE RSVP at inforonwolf@gmail.com
With a heavy heart,
Consuelo, Michael, Neil, Tiffany and Wesley
