Hoang: My family came to Oakland in 1989 and immediately experienced our first earthquake (7.0 Loma Prieta). I am an Oakland Tech grad (go bulldogs!) and a Cal bear (beat Stanford!). I have lived in four different neighborhoods in Oakland and worked in over a dozen. I have lived in Old Oakland since 2004. I enjoy walking, bicycling, and farmers markets (hate jogging, am not fond of driving, and loathe papaya). My greatest passion is neighborhoods!
Michael: I’ve lived in Oakland since 1988 and in Old Oakland since 1990. My wife Suzanne is the former owner, and current stylist at Topps Salon & Day Spa and Washington Street. We live with our two dogs: Spice and Never. I am a middle school math teacher in Alameda. I enjoy backpacking, the Oakland A’s, bike riding and roasting coffee. I am also a long time member of the First Unitarian Church of Oakland
Ron: I have lived at Old Oakland for over 3 years. Currently a consultant in port development and international trade. I like to travel, play basketball, and experience urban and outdoor adventures. I’m a 49ers fan.
Tiffany: A fourth generation resident of Old Oakland. I moved to Old Town Square (OTS) in 2002 and my husband Ener, our daughters Vivien and Alana (the 5th generation in OO), and our dog Penny. In addition to working from home as an independent contractor with non-profit housing organizations, I also work part-time as a licensed California Realtor® specializing in Old Oakland. I am a long-time HOA board member for Old Town Square.
